Fajita Steak Bowls!

Steak Bowls

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb Flank Steak

  • Pre-made Mariano’s fajita mix

  • Rice

  • Avocado

  • 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

  • Equal amount water

  • 2 tbsp garlic

  • 1 tbsp cumin

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • Juice from 1 lime

  • Handful of cilantro


Instructions:

  1. Start by pounding out the steak to get it nice and even.

  2. For the marinade combine the chipotle peppers, water, garlic, cumin, salt, lime juice, and cilantro.

  3. Pour the marinade over the steak and let it marinade for a few hours.

  4. Prepare the rice per the directions on the package.

  5. Grill over high direct heat, pulling it just shy of 130 degrees internal.

  6. Sauté the fajita mix and assemble the bowls. Top with avocado and cilantro as desired.
